'Beryl and Huxley and the Great Pumpkin Parade' linocut print
£45.00 - £60.00
'Beryl and Huxley and the Great Pumpkin Parade' linocut print. The fourth in an occasional series of prints about a wee witch Beryl and her bee pal Huxley. This time they're having a Halloween party and all the garden creatures have been invited. You can probably tell I had a lot of fun making this print; a frog playing a banjo (the Bagpuss nod is purely intentional), a squirrel with a dulcimer and Beryl banging a drum as loud as she possibly can!
Printed on Ho Sho Japanese paper with Caligo oil-based ink and individually painted in watercolours from an edition of 100. There are two options for this print, with watercolours and without. Both options feature the orange pumpkin which I printed using a second block. The registration is a little bit wonky by my own standards but I feel it adds to the charm of this particular print.
The print measures 28cm x 40cm (close to A3).
Each print may vary ever-so slightly as they are printed by hand.
I've recently added some unnumbered but signed prints with slight imperfections. These do not have a watercolour finish.
