'Beryl and the Eclipse' linocut print
£40.00 / Sold Out
'Beryl and the Eclipse' linocut print. The latest in an occasional series of prints about a wee witch Beryl and her bee pal Huxley. They're caught up in an eclipse of moths and having the time of their lives.
Printed on Ho Sho Japanese paper with Caligo oil-based ink and individually painted in watercolours from an edition of 100. The print is created from two blocks of linoleum, the secondary colour block has experimental blends of light blue and lilac inks so every print is different.
The paper measures 28cm x 40cm (close to A3) whilst the inked area measures approximately 16cm x 35cm.
As each linocut print is created by hand there will be differences throughout the run and tiny anomalies which all add to the charm of each piece.
