Black Sunday Gargoyle linocut print

'Black Sunday' linocut print. Created as part of a collaborative project at PRINT SOCIAL on the theme of Gargoyles. I decided to make a 'Black Sunday' inspired gargoyle print in homage to the 'mask of Satan' from Mario Bava's gothic horror film from 1960 starring Barbara Steele as the vengeful witch Princess Asa Vajda.

Printed on Ho Sho Japanese paper with Caligo oil-based ink. The paper measures 28cm x 28cm and the edition is 20.

Each print may vary ever-so slightly as they are printed by hand.
